Warranty Policy

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and only to products purchased directly from https://kukirin.ie.
Products purchased from other websites, marketplaces, private sellers, or third-party retailers are not covered by this warranty.

This warranty does not cover any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, acts of God, accidents, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations or modifications, improper assembly, normal wear and tear, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the product as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper maintenance.

Only in exceptional cases will a full replacement scooter or bicycle be issued. In such cases, the original product may be required to be shipped to Kukirin.ie for inspection and/or repair before any replacement is approved. If repairs are deemed possible, a full replacement will not be issued.

This warranty does not include consumables or normal wear-and-tear parts, including but not limited to:
tires, tubes, brake pads, cables and housings, grips, chains, spokes, or similar components.

Kukirin.ie shall not be liable or responsible for any damage, failure, or loss caused by unauthorized servicing or the use of unauthorized or non-original parts.

Any shipping damage must be reported to Kukirin.ie within 1 day of delivery.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kukirin.ie shall not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or economic loss, arising from the use of its products.

Warranty Claims for Quality-Related Issues

All quality-related defects on items sold directly by Kukirin.ie are covered by warranty starting from the original purchase date (see product page for applicable warranty duration).

Warranty Claim Process

• The buyer must provide valid proof of purchase from kukirin.ie.

• Kukirin.ie may require documentation of troubleshooting steps performed.

• The product’s serial number and/or clear visual evidence of the defect is required.

• In some cases, the defective item may need to be returned for inspection.

• If an incorrect item is returned or the defective item is not returned, the warranty on any replacement may be void.

• Returned products must be sent in original packaging or approved equivalent packaging.

Valid Proof of Purchase

• Order number from purchases made directly on kukirin.ie

• Official purchase receipt issued by Kukirin.ie

• Warranty documentation linked to the original order

Please note that multiple forms of proof of purchase may be required to process a warranty claim.
Warranty claims cannot be processed once the original warranty period has expired.

Warranty Will Be Void in the Following Situations

• The product was not purchased from kukirin.ie

• The product was modified or repaired by unauthorized personnel

• Unauthorized, modified, or non-original parts or accessories were used

• Damage caused by accidents, misuse, vandalism, environmental factors, or external forces

• Damage caused by dirt, water, moisture, or foreign substances

• Use in rain or riding through water exceeding 4 cm depth

• Serial numbers or identification markings are removed, altered, or illegible

• Damage caused by improper handling, transport, or storage

• Corrosion or condensation caused by improper storage conditions

• Use contrary to the user manual instructions

• The warranty period has expired

Warranty Repairs

If our technicians determine that a specific part qualifies for warranty replacement, only the defective part will be provided free of charge.
Labour costs, installation costs, and shipping costs are not covered by the warranty.
